New design for needle

Terumo (Japan) was the first to invent this needle which is almost pain free due to its design. The needle tip is shaped similar to a knife which cuts the skin when pressed unlike conventional needles that have far greater skin resistance which causes the pain. It was initially designed to reduce pain for young children having to take insulin injections three times daily. Unfortunately the inventor has since died but his long persistence in designing the needle took 12 months and was proven less painful.
