Principles And Practices For Difficult Venous Access

This micro-credential course from University of Wollongong will provide you with the knowledge to assess people with DIVA and the skill to insert PIVCs for infusion therapy, blood sampling and or peripheral blood culture collection using assistive technology such as ultrasound.
The course is delivered in two parts: Five self-paced online modules (Part 1) and a full-day in person practical workshop (Part 2) on 11 November. The cost of this course has been subsidised by Medilogic and AVATAR.
