Zetuvit is covered in a soft, non-woven, hydrophobic polyamide fibre. The inner surface of the cover has a high capillary activity, providing wicking of wound exudate into the central core of bleached cellulose fluff.
The backing layer of hydrophobic cellulose is permeable to air and moisture-repellent to help prevent strike-through.
This product is “highly” recommended by my Nurses. I also cannot fault this. As an elderly woman with multiple wounds & an adverse reaction to many different types of products, I swear by this product.
Zetuvit and wound healing.
I’ve had a wound / ulcer for some years, comes and goes. Used combine, does nothing but leak. Zetuvit pads I use every 2-3 days with not too much leakage. Microdacyn and prontosan sprays I use to heal the wound quicker. Every 12 months I start the process over, due to my depression.
