LOGIFLOW Needle-Free Access Valves are an accessory device for vascular access devices. LOGIFLOW Needle-Free Access Valves enable closure of female luers and bolus IV injections without the use of needles. They also enable withdrawal of blood samples without needles. When access is needed, a luer-lock syringe or IV tubing can be connected to the valve. The valve opens when pressure is applied, allowing fluids or medications to be administered. Once the pressure is released, the valve closes automatically, preventing blood leakage and minimizing the risk of infection.

LOGIFLOW Needle-Free Access Valves feature neutral displacement to prevent catheter occlusions and reduce blood reflux upon disconnection. It achieves this by maintaining a neutral or balanced pressure within the catheter and the IV tubing. When an IV line is disconnected from a patient, there is a potential for blood to flow back into the catheter, leading to clot formation and catheter occlusion. A neutral displacement valve helps to prevent this by allowing air to enter the catheter line as blood is drawn back, thus maintaining a balanced pressure and preventing blood reflux.
