ELERS MEDICAL Antimicrobial Curtains help to reduce pathogenic transfer from the surface of the curtain to the patient or staff member
Features:
- Treated with a silver ion based chemical which is a proven effective antimicrobial agent. This directly helps to reduce pathogenic transfer from the surface of the curtain to the patient or staff member.
- Independently tested according to the Internationally accepted Antimicrobial Textile standards – AATCC 100 and AATCC 147. Curtains are proven effective against multiple organisms such as MRSA, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Aspergillus niger, Trycophyton mentagrophytes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Corneybacterium ammoniagenes.
- Antimicrobial chemical is added at the polypropylene (PP) mixing stage. Therefore the fabric is inherently Antibacterial, not just the surface of the curtain.
- High quality fabric ensures quality and patient privacy
- Heat sealed self-auditing and dignity labels including unique identification number for traceability
- 6 stocked colour options with further pantones available, thus allowing easy coordination with existing hospital interior schemes
- Range of different hanging systems available, compatible with most commonly used track systems

- International Flame Retardant (FR) Approvals – tested to BS 5867: Part 2 Type C and NFPA 701. Inherently FR protected; the FR properties remain with the curtain during its life cycle. Regular textile curtains may have reducing FR performance due to the harsh chemical based laundering processes
